management assignment代写:餐厅管理

Ginger is a team leader of a crew of 12 employees. She is confident that she can do well as a leader. Obviously, her boss disagrees with this. Her boss may feel this way because when Ginger’s team ran a project last year, the project was not successful and he blames Ginger.
This is an example of effective leaders. Leadership is the ability to influence, motivate and enable others to contribute toward the effectiveness of the organizations of which they are members. Ginger is not an effective leader because they have no leadership competencies when he ran a project.

Lastly, it seems like her team doesn’t like her because she doesn’t do things like her last boss. This creates a lot f pressure for Ginger as she is very concerned about how she does at work. She sometimes asks an employee who she often dines with the others.
  • This is an example of Path-Goal leadership. Originated with expectancy theory of motivation. It means that Paths are employee expectancies and Goals are employee performance. Ginger is very concerned about how she does at work. She sometimes asks an employee whom she often dines with the others. Ginger use the Participative style of Path-Goal because she encouraged employee involvement.
  • States that effective leaders ensure that employees who perform their jobs well receive more valued rewards than those who perform poorly
She also hold a meeting and talked with employees about what she and the company wanted to accomplish so that she could help make that happen.
This is an example of assimilation of merging organizational cultures. How widely and deeply employees hold the company’s dominant values and assumptions. Strong cultures exist when
  • Most employees understand/embrace the dominant values
  • Values and assumptions are institutionalised through well-established artefacts
  • Culture is long lasting—often traced back to founde
When Ginger’s boss knew what she did, he told Ginger that she employees should not be involved in the decision making as this was the army and that she simply’ ’expected’ ’the member to perform; they would.
  • This is an example of division of Labour. Subdividing work into separate jobs assigned to different people. Necessary as company grows and work becomes more complex. It means that Ginger should assign the every work in to the employees.
When she first arrived, she was able to lead the team to several success; but now it seems as if they are simply out to fail her. Ginger wonders if, perhaps paying the team as individuals is part of the problem as some perform better than others.
